The Environmental Design Library is one of the premier architecture, landscape architecture, and city and regional planning libraries in North America. I designed and developed an online tutorial for the Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals database, and revised and updated their award-winning web-based “Designing a Research Strategy” guide.

Digitization Intern
Exploratorium, San Francisco, CA — September 2009 to June 2010

The Exploratorium is a popular hands-on science museum. It is digitizing and cataloging 40 years worth of assets: print materials, photos, videos, and audio, to make them more accessible to educators, artists, parents, teens, scientists, and curious seekers. In this internship, I learned how to digitize the assets and enter them in a digital asset management system. I assisted the librarian on other projects that included migrating content from old databases to new versions.
